ACADEMICS
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Your Educational Goals.
Your Vision. Your Experience.
At Costa Rica Experience, we believe that every professor has a unique vision for their students, and every academic journey should reflect that vision.
We don’t ask professors to adapt their educational goals to our itineraries. We design our itineraries around their educational goals.
We work directly with professors, teachers, and academic institutions to create fully customized educational programs that reflect their academic objectives, teaching philosophy, institutional values, and available budget.
Our goal is simple: to transform Costa Rica into an extension of your classroom, where knowledge comes to life through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Endless Opportunities for Experiential Learning
Costa Rica offers an extraordinary environment for academic exploration across a wide range of disciplines. Whether your field of study is biology, environmental sciences, conservation, engineering, international business, high-tech industries, healthcare, tourism, hospitality management, sustainable development, or cultural studies, we can help design an experience that connects your curriculum with real-world learning opportunities.
Students can explore tropical ecosystems, participate in conservation and reforestation initiatives, discover Costa Rica’s growing technology and manufacturing sectors, examine international trade, or learn about sustainable tourism and hospitality management through experiences connected to local businesses and communities.
Academic programs may also explore public health, wellness, and longevity through Costa Rica’s renowned Blue Zone, examine sustainable development practices, or engage in respectful cultural exchanges with Indigenous communities.
For programs focused on environmental responsibility, we can incorporate educational activities that help students understand their travel-related carbon footprint, estimate the emissions associated with their flights, and explore how reforestation and long-term carbon absorption can contribute to climate solutions.
These are just a few examples. Whatever your academic discipline, we are committed to exploring opportunities to bring your educational objectives to life.
The Advantage of Working Directly With Us
Unlike international travel companies that rely on multiple intermediaries, Costa Rica Experience is a direct local tour operator.
We design, organize, and coordinate our programs directly in Costa Rica, allowing us to offer greater flexibility, personalized attention, consistent quality, and highly competitive pricing.
We understand that budgets play a crucial role in academic travel. That’s why we work closely with each institution to develop the best possible experience within its financial expectations, while maintaining our commitment to quality, safety, and meaningful educational outcomes.
From the initial planning stages to the final day of your journey, our team works alongside you to ensure that every detail supports your educational goals.
Let’s Build Your Academic Experience Together
Every professor has a vision. Every institution has a philosophy. Every group has different needs. Our job is to bring them together into an unforgettable educational experience. Tell us what you want your students to learn, discover, and accomplish.
We’ll help you create the journey that makes it possible.
